I'd give it 5 stars if they took cards. You have to order through DoorDash (which is slightly more expensive) to bypass that cash only option they have. Being from STL, no one has fried rice like that place, but speaking of Chinese food overall, this is the only place I'll eat at in Charlotte. I've been to so many Chinese food places here too. Only took 1.5 years for me to discover this hidden gem.

They're the only Chinese restaurant that I've ever been to that actually sells whole wings. IMO... They're one of the best Chinese restaurants in Charlotte. I've never had a bad experience and definitely reasonably priced.

Best chicken wings and crab rangoon hands down. No matter how big the order is, it's always ready in no time at all. The food is always fresh and delicious. I've been coming here for years and they have never messed up my order or forgotten anything. Cash only doesn't bother me at all since there are plenty of ATMs in the area. The staff is super friendly too. This is THE Chinese food spot!

Best Chinese Food Place Ever!!!! The owners are extremely nice, my family have known since I was a little girl now I'm twenty. Our usual order is always two order chicken wing with fried rice and shrimp and chicken broccoli or shrimp lo mien and a side of French fries. YUMMM!!!!

This is the first spot to have food that tastes like home to me. The flavors taste fresh and not overpowering. I returned a few days/ week later to enjoy more. I do wish they took cards bc it's cash only. There is an atm nearby- our food came within the said time. The shrimp lo mein, teriyaki chicken on a stick and shrimp egg foo young are perfection. Shrimp rolls just as delicious. I didn't care for the white rice or brown sauce for the egg foo young- it has a word unfamiliar taste and unlike most places with a darker brown sauce.

Hot crispy chicken, generous chunks of fresh onions and peppers with great texture, tender meat, good flavor not overly salty or sickly sweet. I've been searching for new Chinese for the past two years, if Chin Garden can keep the quality, value and high standards this will be my go-to spot! Most of the negative reviews are about cash-only for small value pickup and best ignored. - March23 health score 92 hope they can get that raised next inspection.
